Nero Coaching is one of Australia's leading cycle coaching groups having helped hundreds of athletes worldwide achieve their cycling goals. In the past, Nero Coaching focused solely on 1:1 coaching. But we know that all riders looking for structured training to improve their cycling are able to commit to 1:1 coaching.
That's why we’re now offering the Nero Training Club — structured training, education and a fun community to transform your cycling, developed entirely by our expert Nero Coaches.
The Nero Training Club is for you if you want to step-up your training in a friendly environment, no matter what you're training for!
Excel at your specific goals
Event and fitness-specific plans
The baseline plan is great to maintain structured training around your other weekly rides. But at certain times you need training to get more specific to excel at an event or fitness-specific goal.
At these times you can move from the Baseline plan to a Nero Coaching built specific plan; each with periodised weekly progressions and custom workouts. This will transform your cycling performance in your target area, from reaching a PB performance at an upcoming Gran Fondo or hitting that peak sprint power you've been trying to get for years. See the full list of our available specific plans below.
You'll also have the option to choose Enthusiast or Experienced variants in most plans to get the right training stimulus for your fitness level - ensuring exceptional improvements without over-training.

Learn from true experts
With years of university sports science study, applied 1:1 coaching experience and personal success on the bike, the Nero Coaches have gained a significant amount of knowledge on all things cycling.
They will share their science-backed, no-BS advice through dedicated articles, live Q&A events and discussion on the Facebook group. From session timing, nutrition, recovery to heat acclimation, take advantage of actionable advice that even the most experienced riders would improve from if they had access to.
Join the community
While the Nero Training Club doesn't include 1:1 private coaching advice, it does offer the opportunity to join in open discussion with the coaches and other riders in the private Facebook group.
In this group, all riders can ask questions directly to our coaches, discuss each workout and learn from riders on the same progression.

I've been coaching road cyclists since 2017. I also work part-time for Today's Plan as an Operational Coach working with the world's top coaches in managing their athletes and teams.
I've raced at the UCI Continental level since 2018, competing across Europe, Asia and the USA. As a relative late-comer to the sport, I've had a unique journey applying my theoretical knowledge to coach myself through the club grades to UCI Continental level in the space of 3 years.
This unique perspective is what contributes to my success as a coach and I look forward to using my experience and knowledge to develop you as a rider.

I have been coaching since 2014. During my physiotherapy studies I found a love for anatomy and physiology. But I realised I didn't want to work with just injured athletes, I wanted to be working with all athletes to achieve their goals.
Like Jesse, I entered the sport later in life at 20. As a cyclist I knows what it takes to go from no fitness back to the highest level, having to come back from multiple injuries, including a motor vehicle accident while training which left me permanently injured in my hip.
I have won multiple Australian Championships as a para-athlete and have represented Australia at World Championships. As a coach, my love for the human physiology underpins my methodology which I've applied from club level riders up to age-group World Champions.
